Int’l community remains silent on Rohingya genocide: Nazieha Saleh

A political analyst says that the international community has not done anything about the Rohingyas problem so the massacre will continue especially when the Muslim world is not saying anything against what is going on in Burma. 

The comments came after sixty-three Rohingya Muslims, including 23 children, fleeing the violence in Myanmar were found adrift in a wooden boat in western Indonesia, in the second such event this week. Indonesia police said on Friday that the vessel was found by fishermen with no engine while drifting off the eastern coast of Sumatra island near Aceh Province.

Press TV: First of all, tell us about the response from the international community and whether you think it has been sufficient enough to the plight of the Rohingyas?

Saleh: As we know US from before promised the leaders of Burma that if it will get rid of the Muslims nor get rid of the Chinese control in their country, they can help them to control the country as they want and the first point that they were talking about was to get rid of the Muslims in Burma.

So now as we know the massacre continues and as we know that nobody, all the world is looking and under the eye of the US and the international community the massacre [is] continuing and nobody is raising a voice against what is going on in Burma especially the Rohingyas because the Rohingyas, they were not recognized by the Burma’s leaders now so they considered them as foreigners.

That is why they are doing a lot of massacres among them as we said under the eyes of the international community. This is what the promise was from the US to the leaders in Burma.
