In the village of U Hla Pe and Rwa Nyo Daung in Buthidaung Township, Rakhine Buddhists have put poison in drinking water-ponds. When Rakhines were caught and asked by Rohingya villagers why they entered the village.
The conspirators replied they entered in the village in search of frogs. Later in the morning, upon finding some suspicious packets of poison around as many as 50 ponds, Rohingya informed military authority on the case. Then, Military and Police came to investigate and they found that the ponds were poisoned. They assure the Rohingyas to look into the matter but request them not to inform higher authority. Casualties are not known yet.
There are other reports:
1. In the forest around Buthidaung Township, unusual activity of the armed- Rakhine Buddhist were spotted very recently and the storage of huge package of arm and ammunition were presumably raised the alarm particularly in the Buddhist monastery of Quarter 5, Buthidaung.
2. In the jail of Buthidaung, more than 60 Rohingya women were arbitrarily detained for more than 4 months with no information what was going on them.
3. Still today Rohingya cannot practice their prayer in the Mosques. All are closed yet.

The Rohingya residents of Aanarein village of Pauktaw Township are warned to leave village by police and military as they want to used it for the imported Rakhine Buddhist from Bangladesh.
